Alexis Stones

Alexis (BA, PGCE) is a lecturer and tutor for Initial Teacher Education in Secondary Religious Education at the University College London, Institute of Education, and has worked in education, arts and community settings for twenty years. She is an RE teacher and in her seventh year of teaching on the RE PGCE at UCL Institute of Education and King’s College, London. Her specialisms are Sacred Art, Teaching Hinduism and Drama in RE. 

Alexis also works closely with the National Gallery and Tower of London’s education departments where she is a museum educator and advisor for RE. She is currently involved in a research project in collaboration with colleagues from Science Education exploring students’ and teachers’ attitudes to the various relationships between science and religion.
